The initial months of 2021 presented challenges for some employees balancing home schooling responsibilities, prompting us to provide seminars and flexible working options. Throughout the year, remote work remained prevalent, with managers receiving training to effectively oversee remote teams. Encouraging feedback and suggestions for improvement, we conduct quarterly Employee Voice surveys. Quarterly calls led by US and UK leaders keep employees informed about various financial and economic factors influencing company performance. Introducing a monthly “News You Need” communication, we ensure all staff stay informed about upcoming projects and training relevant to all departments. Ace Hire Recruits Ltd, remains steadfast in fostering a culture where every employee can connect, develop, and excel. Throughout the year, we continued rolling out programs to cultivate an inclusive environment. The UK Global Women Employee Network, established in 2020, has expanded, hosting regular updates through book clubs and seminars with guest speakers. The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council organized its inaugural event in 2021 and now provides quarterly updates through speakers, blogs, and newsletters. Employee network groups like LGBTQIA, BELONG, and ProPride host panel events to enhance knowledge and awareness. Our Network of Suppliers
Due to the nature of our industry, our supply chain network is not extensive. Our supply chains encompass various categories, including office supplies such as stationery, IT hardware and software, cleaning and catering services, advertising and print services, office fit-out and maintenance services, and professional services. To mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains, we employ several measures, including requiring all suppliers to comply with the Modern Slavery Act. Furthermore, we adhere to the Reporting on Payment Practices and Performance Regulations 2017 by disclosing our payment practices. On average, it takes our company 18.6 days to pay suppliers across our supply chain, with 93.8% of all invoices settled within 30 days.
